Can I install an electric hot water heater in my 1981 Toyota huntsman?

I am purchasing a 1981 Toyota huntsman Saturday that has the hot water removed because it was bad. the owner has suggested putting in a home depot 115v mini hot water heater. is this possible? if not, where can I buy an oem tank?thanks :)
