Electric rope fencing...?

We have electric rope. It is great. It lasts long and the horses can't destroy it. I agree that it isn't mean. They only get zapped once and then they respect it. One little zap is much better than them getting hit on the road. I think solar power is a great idea. I'm not sure how many panels it would take or how expensive it would be. You could talk to a solar panel company to get an estimate.
