Anybody knows the name of this glass?Description below?

Watching discovery, i heard about a new kind of window, inserted to modern airplanes which blinds due to an electric impulse.Can anybody tell me whats the name of that glass?I think i saw it during "Extreme tomorrow".Thanks for help.
