How can I calculate power generation from a wind turbine?

I am trying to work on a design and I am trying to figure out how I can calculate how much power I will produce based off the type of generator, wind speed, etc. If you can please give me some guidance on a chart that exists or how to calculate it. Also would the same principles be used for hydro electric generators?
