I would like to buy a small wind generator and just add the negative and positive wires to the negative and positive wires in my Harbor Freight Solar Panel kit. The Harbor Freight Solar Panel kit's charge control will still protect the battery from over charging right? Even though the charge controller would be buffering more wattage then what the manufaturer probably intended it to buffer? My landlord broke my lease what rights do i have?
when we first moved in we started noticing problems right away. the furnace they told me worked didn't work and it turned out that they knew the whole time. it took about 5 phone calls over a period of 2 weeks to get the problem resolved. the first time i went to put my son in the bath i turned on the water and the faucet head shot off spraying water all over and then when i turned it off it leaked water all over the kitchen area. those problems were resolved and i was somewhat understanding about the situation. now 3 months later in the middle of winter our furnace stopped heating the back two rooms of the apartment and we have water leaking in the back two windows. they sent somebody out who did nothing other than agree with me that these two things were wrong and then left. 2 weeks went by and i didnt even receive a phone call to tell me what they were doing. right at that 2 week mark our water shut off and has not been worked on 2 days have gone by and the only thing they have done is drop an electric heater off and told me to pull my stove out and heat the pipes coming into the house. i have been patient and understanding but the way they have handled this water situation has pushed me over the edge. i have a 15 month old son and a newborn on the way home and this environment is not suitable for myself to live in let alone my family. i have given them plenty of time and would have even made the repairs myself by now if it didn't say i wasn't allowed to in the lease. these are just the major problems there is a list of about 25 minor problems i have noticed and just worked my way around. is there any way i can move and have my moving expenses paid for by this company? if not what am i allowed to do about this?

Well I have had a guitar for about 2 years but I have no idea how to play. My parents won't get me lessons because they claim I don't show enough interest but I just don't know what I'm doing. Is one heating method more economical than another?
Is propane, electric, or heating oil more economical than any other? I ran out of heating oil today and was wondering if there was a more economical way to heat the house rather than going through 3/4 of a 275 gallon tank of oil a month at $3.20 or so a gallon. We didn't even have many days that were very cold and we kept the house at 62 degrees. The windows are covered in plastic and I don't know what else to do because we can't afford to keep heating the house...

We have electric rope. It is great. It lasts long and the horses can't destroy it. I agree that it isn't mean. They only get zapped once and then they respect it. Modem and router not working very weird?
My wireless has always worked after moving my modem and router to a different cable outlet in the apartment, and I know all cable outlets work. However, if my modem and router are plugged into this one particular electric socket where both are definitely receiving power (lights flash on the Insight modem and router), my network is identifiable but wireless does not work. From this electric socket I have connected the modem to multiple cable outlets (I have long cable wires), and the internet still had the same problem. As soon as I switched to a different electric socket though, wireless works perfectly, no matter which cable outlet it's plugged into. WTF?!

the little boy is only 13, he has two types of leukaemia, his parents are jehovah witness and refuse blood. he has also stated no blood so the courts are respecting his wants. doctors are refusing to help because this pill is a small dose of chemo meant to force the his own white blood cells to mature, but the doctors wont give it because of his age and that his immune is to low to handle without a blood transfusion first to boost his white blood cells. the family will not change their minds on the blood transfusion so plz dnt even comment on that or tell me that this is stupid to refuse it, its not my beliefs but i still care if the little boy lives or dies....plz if anyone knows of a doctor that has help Jehovah's witnesses before in working with minors without blood transfusions.....they had a doctor in portland oregon, but he decided he didn't want to mess with it, they might have someone in chicago, but it seems nobody really cares enough to help! if anyone knows of more options his time is getting shorter everyday!!!! plz help this family!!!! plz don't write anything rude, i don't have time to read it, and im not the person to vent at as i don't agree with this either!!!

The Cheapest Way To Fly To Europe?
I live in Chicago and I'm planning on doing a Euro trip this or next summer. I've been saving for years and I have money I just want to find the cheapest flight to Europe possible. The problem is every time I go to like Expedia or Orbitz it makes me put in a arrival city, but I don't care where I fly into, I just want the cheapest. Came in today and the house was, shall we say not as warm as it usually is but we never paid much attention to it. Only when my friend tried to do her dishes did she discover that there was no hot water, not was there any heat in the radiators. The chorus, phaser, tremolo are all different types of effects, just play around with em and you'll learn if you like them or not. The reverb effect is kinda cool. It makes it sound like your playing in a much larger room like at a concert or something. The more you turn the knob for any given effect usually changes the presence of said effect. The more you turn it the more noticeable the gain is what gives it the distortion, less of a clean sound and more of what you here in rock and metal, my motto is the more gain the better! :). Id put the treble about 3/4 the way up. the mids about half, and the bass about 3/4. You can experiment and see what you like. Hope this helps!

I reside in Chicago, recently Chicago Bears lost to GB, but the whole week before the game people behaved like there is nothing more important than this forthcoming game. Bears finally lost and most people got so depressed like they lost close family member. My office temperature was normal 73 Deg. and so on. Can someone educate me what it is about this game? All players are overweight and look not much better then cave man. You can’t even see their faces, (This actually may be a good thing) and all they want is to take the out of shape ball from one place to another, hardly a sophisticated task when you compare it to other sport i.e. figure skating, professional dancing, volleyball or even tennis. Please give me a reason to be at least a little excited about this game.

Safe heating for the homeless?
Here is the situation - I help with feeding and suppling items for homeless in the city I live in, the problem is great, but I am looking for ideas on a safe way to help with heating. Some have propane heaters, those are costly to acquire for every person. And open flame is a dangerous option with fire wood and such. So any ideas on making propane attachments to the tanks to offer heat, or hand crank generators to store and then "plug" in a heater? The potbelly heater option is too risky also. So please offer constuctive ideas. And the "just send them to a shelter" is not helpful to me for this question. These are individuals that will not go to a shelter - some have tents, sheds, so this is what I am looking to help them with heating. Thanks for your time and ideas.

What do I need to know about portable generators?
Normally for the home the inexpesive models run 5500w to 6800w. 12 horse power or so. Be sure to buy one that has a main breaker on the unit and a couple of 20 amp branch circuit breakers. This is best way to go. The 5500 watts is about 45 amps and 6800 watts is about 56 amps. Figure out what you want to power in your home when the power goes off. Add up the amps on each item and plug them into the circuits keeping it at about 80% to 85 % loaded. That is as high as I would go. Be sure to buy an engine that will start when its 0 degrees F outside. Some motors wont pull start in cold to read the literature for operation temps. Buy a transfer switch if you want or just a bunch of good 12awg extention cords. The exfer switch requires an electrician to install usually. So basically you load the breakers to 17 amps give or take an amp or 2. That could be a refridge when its running, your satelite system, TV and a coffee pot. The best way is to get a current meter and check each item running in your breaker panel or read the tags on the items. You might use ohms law to convert watts, amps and so on.

Why can't we put a cap on that? There are those in the state of Tennessee paying more for utility use than their house notes or rent cost. Is there a break for senior citizens? Do the American people need to come together and boycott the gas companies, car pool for months, walk to work, sacrifice vacationing for a year to let these oil companies know that we do not have to and will not be pimped by their companies and constant rising cost of energy in our nation.

2004 Honda Accord V6 problem??? HELP?
I have a problem with my 2004 Accord EX V6 (no navigation system) with 85K miles. It sits out in the Chicago cold all day and night. Twice in the past couple of days, there is absolutely no power at all in the car when I go to unlock it using the remote buttons on my key - no interior/exterior lights, no power door locks, no nothing. And the car won't start either. I wait a few minutes, then try again and everything is fine. Car starts right up, and I have to reset the clock and enter the code for the radio. I just replaced the battery last year, so I don't think that is the culprit. What else can be causing this? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

My fiance wears size 16 and it's really hard to find shoes for him. To make it worse he's really picky about the style and how the shoe looks.The only time I've been able to find a pair of shoes in his size was when we were vacationing in Chicago, IL. He is one of those people who won't buy online and always have to try the shoes on. We feel like we've already looked everywhere and are running out of options. Well he was fired for INSUBORDINATION if you want to be honest. He was told to remove the tie TWICE. I mean the first time I can deal with, but the second time was flat out wrong. Based on it just as a tie I'd agree it was stupid, but in the context of the boss telling him take it off and he wouldn't I agree with firing her.
